Brittany Elizabeth Burke is a Brooklyn based movement and yoga teacher devoted to creating spaces that are physically empowering, creatively expansive, and deeply restorative. Drawn to yoga in college for its ability to support and sustain a moving body, she discovered in the practice not only strength and alignment, but compassion, awareness, and a way of living with intention.

After earning her BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois in 2011, Brittany moved to New York City to pursue her artistic dreams while working in people development and coaching at a yoga inspired company. City life deepened her understanding of yoga as both a personal anchor and a communal practice, one that meets us in fast paced world and invites us back to steadiness.

She completed her 200 hour teacher training at Prema Yoga Brooklyn in 2014. She received her Yin Yoga teacher certification from New Love City and her Prenatal Yoga teacher certification from Brooklyn Flow, continuing to expand her knowledge of supportive and sustainable movement practices.

Her teaching blends foundational alignment with thoughtful sequencing, honoring tradition while allowing space for exploration, autonomy, and play.

In her classes, Brittany emphasizes choice and personal ownership, encouraging students to listen inward and trust their own experience. With attention to alignment and a focus on cultivating connection, she aims to foster a sense of belonging and community on the mat.

From beginners to seasoned practitioners, her intention is that students leave feeling at home in their bodies, supported, spacious, and steady.
